Jean-Luc’s work at Maison Patrail focuses on paper stained glass. He juggles with the lightness of a butterfly, plays with the balance of a mobile, and explores the transparency and interplay of colours in stained glass.

“I like to bring out a touch of poetry, dreaminess and warmth in my paintings, with a style open to everyone’s own interpretation.......
My favourite medium is acrylic, which suits my spontaneous style; I love working with the palette knife to manipulate the paint and colour.”
