Marathon de la Liberté | Normandy Running Festival

The Marathon de la Liberté will take place on Sunday 7 June 2026.
This 39th edition will offer a unique sporting and memorial experience, following in the footsteps of the heroes of history, at the heart of the emblematic sites of the D-Day landings.

The programme includes a range of events that pay tribute to the events of the D-Day, allowing everyone to take part according to their level of ability and desire:
- The Marathon de la Liberté, the flagship event, with a course steeped in history and passing through the key sites of the D-Day landings;
- The Marathon Relay, 42.195 km in teams of 4;
- The Pegasus Half Marathon, a legendary distance starting from the famous Pegasus Bridge;
- The Crédit Agricole Normandie 10km, a race to discover the heritage of Caen;
- La Rochambelle, a women's race-walk in aid of the fight against cancer;
- Les Foulées de la Liberté, bringing together 4,000 children from local schools.

The Marathon de la Liberté is a major sporting, popular and commemorative event in Normandy.
