The 10th Nights of Reading, organised for the 5th year by the Centre national du livre on the proposal of the Ministry of Culture, will be held from 21 to 25 January 2026. To mark the occasion, Caen la mer's libraries have put together a programme based on the official theme of "Towns and Countryside". Saturday 24 January will see a host of activities at the Alexis de Tocqueville Library, in addition to the many events organised by Caen's local libraries, the François Geindre Library in Hérouville Saint-Clair and the Ifs Library.
