Everyone knows the song Il était un petit navire... or thinks they do. But behind the refrain in everyone's head lies a more adventurous story...

The play is inspired by the song and tells the story of an initiatory elopement: Noé is a young boy who lives exciting adventures aboard the boat-cabin he has built in his garden. But while he?s dreaming himself into the heart of stories populated by heroic characters, his father keeps bringing him back to daily obligations and reality: helping with household chores, or studying to prepare for his future... But Noé doesn't want to worry about his future; he wants to live his dreams without waiting! So one morning, he leaves the family farm and heads for the nearest port, where he boards the first ship that comes along, which turns out to be none other than the Walrus, Captain Flint?s famous pirate ship...

The show is performed by three actor-musicians, who tell the story in an intermediary mode between storytelling and theater.
