For the 3rd year running, MEP (re)goes Live? at Cargö!
MEP stands for "Musique En Plaine", a school where it's respectable to make music in a group with a whole lot of amps, microphones, cables (lots of them) and more or less electrified instruments.
At Cargö, we're no strangers to all that, so it's only natural that we should enter into a partnership with MEP to learn, exchange and share with each other, and vice-versa, and spread the word!
Back to MEP part live. These concerts are at the heart of the school?s program. twice a year, they bring together all the current music groups in the club. All the students? skills are called upon: sound and lighting technicians, graphic designers, photographers, video artists.
After all, learning music also means knowing how to perform on stage, as well as the technical and artistic professions involved. And since a partnership is a two-way street, MEP has already hosted 2 artist residencies with Le Cargö: Philem & Elde and Rougir.
4 contemporary music groups, the MEP Fanfare Kids and Prod students will delight you on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, starting at 3pm.
