The Conservatoire & Orchestre de Caen brings education and performance together at its two auditoriums (seating 870 and 120). It's listed as a CRR (music conservatory of regional influence) and teaches 1500 students in 40 disciplines (music, dance, theatre). It hosts 300 artistic events every year including 50 concerts and 250 student performances. The Aspects and Plenum festivals are also held here.
