Musartdit

Located to the north of Caen, on the Côte de Nacre coast, Musartdit was created in 2018 by Laura Puech, a cultural outreach coordinator and independent art professional from Picardy. Throughout the year, Musartdit proposes guided tours and practical workshops in artistic disciplines throughout Calvados, for groups. Inspired by Normandy’s wealth of natural and cultural treasures and by history of art to elaborate her guided tours and workshops, Laura Puech designs and coordinates activities that are open to all thanks to a recreational approach. Musartdit is certified by the Normandy education board for in-school interventions. Guided tour: The promenade villas and other curiosities: lasts 1 hour 45 minutes. Rates €135 excluding public holidays and Sundays. This tour offers an insight into the history of Hermanville-sur-Mer’s splendid holiday homes, of Art Nouveau and specific seafront architecture in the late 19th century. For school groups, the guided villa tour can be enhanced with one or several artistic workshops in a classroom environment. Workshops: workshops and courses in drawing, painting, collage, bookmaking.
