The De la Brèche chapel was first built in 1932 and was then called the Chapelle des Baigneurs. It was damaged during the D-Day landings on June 6, 1944. In order to cope with the harsh winter, some inhabitants came to collect the planks of the Chapelle des Baigneurs to keep warm.

The local parishioners decided and financed the construction of this new chapel in 1954. This beautiful chapel received the label "Heritage of the 20th century" in 2004.
