A discussion hosted by Stéphane Durand, director of the Mondes Sauvages / Actes Sud series, with Frédéric Jiguet, Estelle Zhong Mengual and Pauline Peyrade (Associated artists)
A discussion exploring, at the crossroads of art, literature and research, how we coexist with living creatures in the city and in our imaginations. In the spirit of the ‘Mondes Sauvages’ series (Actes Sud), this dialogue invites us to take a fresh look at the world around us, from migratory birds to the unobtrusive creatures of our streets.
Stéphane Durand: A biologist and ornithologist, he has been involved as a co-author and scientific adviser on Jacques Perrin’s film projects since 1997. In 2020, he joined Actes Sud after founding the ‘Mondes Sauvages’ series. There, he heads the Science, Nature and Society division. He is the author of *20,000 Years*
