And how can we develop this space? This is the question explored by Estelle Zhong Mengual in her writings and projects (“Learning to See”, “Painting in Close Quarters”, “Danses non humaines”) and by Clara Hédouin in her theatrical productions (“Que ma joie demeure”, “Prélude de Pan”, “Manières d’être vivant”) – a question that is once again tackled head-on here, in this outdoor theatrical performance. In the Château’s grounds, two performers explore how to remain connected to the living world in a way of life that seems so ill-suited to it: contemporary urban life. Through various scenes from everyday life, they embody and recount how the living world can serve as a guide to learning how to belong to a place.
The performance will take place in the grounds of Caen Castle; in the event of bad weather, it will be held inside the museum.
