Show: “Elle – The Conquest”

She is at home here, mistress of her own realm. Her strangeness, and the beauty and cruelty of her rituals, eventually catch the attention of those living nearby. A man crosses the threshold of her flat. Then another. Fascinated by her demeanour as much as they are frightened by her behaviour, they eventually come to believe they are in danger…
With this work-in-progress, Afag Théâtre explores the question of ‘the other’… The other, the stranger, the woman, the witch, the sleepwalker… All those whose thinking defies the dominant norm and whom society has always sought to silence.
