On a mission to fight cancer for the last three years, the Rock 4 Life association is back with an unprecedented surge of activity.
Yarol Poupaud, guitarist, singer and live performer, is there for the cause. An iconic figure in French rock, he first came to prominence as a founding member of the group FFF, pioneers of French funk rock in the 1990s. He went on to experiment and meet new people, performing on the big stages alongside the legendary Johnny Hallyday and the group Niagara. With his instinctive guitar playing and acute sense of rhythm, he has created a unique sound signature, at the crossroads of rock, funk and soul.
A Yarol Poupaud concert should be experienced to the full: the energy he radiates through his powerful rhythms and spellbinding solos can be felt live on stage.
In the first half, the Caen quartet Les Moutons Électriques will set the stage alight as they did in 2024, with energetic covers and compositions carried by the powerful, bewitching voice of their singer.
