Often the victims of preconceived ideas, these small, discreet and little-known mammals hide close to our homes. Bats are rarely seen and their distribution across the country is poorly identified. Come and build a bat house in your garden to increase your chances of spotting them.
Threatened by urbanisation and the reduction in its hunting grounds, this workshop will be an opportunity to find out more about this animal, its way of life, its distribution across the region and the actions that need to be taken to live together and preserve these species. You will learn about a participatory research programme that aims to monitor bats near you and their hunting activities in order to assess their state of health.
From selecting the right plank of wood to cutting and assembling the parts, you'll learn how to use the machines and tools in the Fablab to make your own shelter.
