Lecture on portraiture in France from 1750 to 1850 – Part 1

From the decline of classical French painting to the dawn of Impressionism, four lectures on ‘Portraiture in France from 1750 to 1850’ to understand the technical and symbolic evolution of the depiction of the human figure at the turn of the 19th century.

Organised by the Artotem association, this series of four lectures will begin on 17 September at the Pavillon de Ouistreham,
on 15 October at the Le Cabieu cinema in Ouistreham,
on 19 November at the Colleville Montgomery Media Centre,
and on 17 December at the Pavillon de Ouistreham.
