The Nice Caennais holiday resort is built on the site of former tree nurseries. Designed to appeal to a middle-class population, drawn to a healthy lifestyle away from the city centre, this neighbourhood features a number of beautiful villas built in the style of seaside architecture.
The cycle path – the ‘Napoleon I Route’ – takes us along the route of the former railway line, which once provided access to the Côte de Nacre. Come and hear its story.
