Le Dôme invites you to discover the “Rendez-vous avec” series, a programme of fascinating talks led by young researchers from Normandy to mark the 35th Fête de la Science in Normandy. Participatory research, society, the environment, history or health… Each session offers a vivid glimpse behind the scenes of current research, explained with simplicity and enthusiasm. Join us from 2 to 12 October 2026 in libraries and media centres across Normandy to ask questions, share ideas and learn in a friendly atmosphere.
On the programme for this edition, themed ‘Saveurs savantes’ (Scholarly Flavours), there will be nearly 100 events hosted at around forty venues and led by PhD students who will travel across the region to meet the public and explore the challenges of food in the 21st century, ranging from the chemistry of flavours to sustainable agriculture, via public health and culinary technologies.
Organised with the support of Science Action Normandie and the departmental libraries of Calvados, Eure, Manche, Orne and Seine-Maritime, the 2026 programme for “Rendez-vous avec” features nearly 100 events. You’re sure to find one near you!
