Exhibition: “Gil’s Machines”

What if our French idioms came to life in the form of real machines?
In *Gil’s Machines*, the illustrator brings familiar turns of phrase from our language to life by transforming them into absurd and poetic visual inventions. Expressions such as ‘avoir le compas dans l’œil’ or ‘péter un câble’ literally become zany mechanisms in which pipes, levers, dials and unlikely objects are all tangled up.
