With Anaïs Jardin from the Centre Permanent d’Initiatives pour l’Environnement Vallée de l’Orne and the Normandy Batrachological and Herpetological Observatory, and Nicolas Klatka from the Normandy Mammalogical Group and the Normandy Ornithological Group.
Although often discreet, wildlife is nevertheless very much present in our towns and cities. Mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles can be found in our gardens, parks, cemeteries and even our buildings. But how do these species adapt to an increasingly urbanised environment? What threats do they face, and how can we coexist more harmoniously with them?
Let’s set out to discover Normandy’s urban biodiversity and the simple steps we can take to live more harmoniously with the living world around us.
As part of ‘Recommencer?’, an event celebrating life organised by La Comédie de Caen.
