Since 1842, this company has left its mark on our regional heritage with its ridge finials and other ceramic ornaments that adorn the villas and country houses along our coastline, stretching from Honfleur to Courseulles-sur-Mer, as well as throughout the Pays d’Auge.
For Heritage Days 2026, it is opening its doors to the general public to showcase its expertise and working methods, which have remained unchanged since the company was founded.
On the programme for these two days are free guided tours of the workshops, featuring demonstrations of stamping and glazing.
Booking is required, in one-hour slots. Between 10.00 and 12.00 and 14.00 and 17.00, in groups of up to 12 people.
La Poterie du Mesnil de Bavent also hosts a community of artisans and designers at its production site, who will be present in their workshops to welcome the public, demonstrate their craftsmanship and share the passion that drives them.
Booking is compulsory for guided tours.
