The Take It Easy Brass Band is a brand new brass band led by saxophonist Vincent Leyreloup. The band is inspired by New Orleans, with its dizzying carnival, second line parades, funk rhythms and bewitching brass riffs.
Through original compositions, the brass band pays a vibrant tribute to this city that embodies diversity, and to the Afro-American Indian peoples who have given this cradle of so much music its living strength, energy and warmth.
So the Take It Easy Brass Band is coming out of the woodwork to cross genres, band together backstage, slide across the Atlantic, bounce and sway, funk and rasp, swing and jive, ethiopoe, antille, sway quietly... Easy!
