"Frida" traces the turbulent life of Frida Kahlo, the 20th-century Mexican painter who distinguished herself through her surrealist work, her political commitment to communism and her bisexuality. The film also focuses on Frida's tumultuous relationship with her husband, the painter Diego Rivera, and her secret and controversial affair with Leon Trotsky.
Screening followed by a discussion with the audience.
