We’re back for the 3rd edition of the Matrix Battle.
The first dance battle created in this format in Normandy.
What is an experimental dance battle?
> Battle (noun): a fun challenge in the form of a duel or public exchange, judged by professionals according to criteria of originality, technique, interpretation and musicality.
> Experimental (adjective): a discipline within hip-hop culture, without distinction of style.
Draws on all the techniques available to the dancer (contemporary, hip-hop, salsa, capoeira, classical, etc.) to develop a concept, a world, a story, set to any music.

And why this name?
“Matrix Battle” because it is together, during this event, that we will break free from the matrix (everyday life), for a few hours: through dance, we enter another world, another perception of reality beyond the hassles of everyday life, each with their own style and personality, just like in experimental dance.
