This 20th-century cabaret will take you on a musical journey from the pavement to the local eatery, via the concert hall. Take note! This is a truly exceptional concert: four singers and seven musicians – that’s no mean feat. And it’s going to have a real Belle Époque feel to it. A wind quintet, a pianist and a guitarist will accompany – either in turn or all together – a repertoire of songs dating back over a century. The singers will frequently change costumes, designed by Julie Duclut-Rasse, to move from operetta to street songs, from light-hearted or sensual tunes to the politically engaged verses of *Le Chat Noir*. A few props and period images compiled by Romain Sadier will provide a fitting backdrop to the concert.
