These concerts, tailored for young listeners, take young and old alike on a journey of discovery through the extraordinary diversity of the musical world. A repertoire performed by the artist-teachers of the Caen Conservatoire & Orchestra at a particularly attractive price (€3 per person).
For this mini-concert, the four musicians will take the audience on a musical journey to the heart of America – specifically to Los Angeles in the 1950s – where the West Coast jazz style first emerged, giving rise to a rich variety of musical expressions. During this performance, the musicians will introduce the audience to a variety of themes, where composed music and the freedom of improvisation coexist harmoniously. Discovery, joy and excitement are guaranteed!
