Lecture at the Memorial – Understanding the World: How has terrorism changed the world?

To mark the 25th anniversary of the 11 September 2001 attacks, the Caen Memorial will host a discussion on the theme: ‘How terrorism has changed the world’.

This evening event will bring together historian Henry Laurens and journalist Michel Moutot, who was a correspondent in New York at the time of the 2001 attacks, to compare the perspectives of the historian and an eyewitness. Hosted by journalist Thierry Geffrotin, this new format will bring together, at each event, a geopolitical analyst or expert, a researcher or historian, and an eyewitness, to offer complementary insights into the major issues facing the contemporary world.
