‘Confluence2 – Light and Shadow’ concert

Following the creation of Confluence 1 and its warm reception in St-Côme-de-Fresné and Louvigny, La Fugue et Cie has brought together the same musicians to take you on a new journey.
The first programme suggested a journey from one culture to another, characterised by encounters and dialogue.
The second programme delves deeper into these encounters, this time with a more dramatic dimension: a journey that will take us from light to the darkness of the Last Judgement, ending on the hopeful notes of the first light of dawn. Like a kind of timeless odyssey!
Featuring:
Emmanuel Ricard: percussionist and creator of instruments from everyday objects,
Soroush Kamalian: player of finger percussion and the kamancheh (Iranian violin), composer,
Christian Belhomme: composer and pianist (acoustic and synthesisers) who performs with today’s leading jazz musicians, whilst exploring world music,
Bernard Cochin: double bassist, a musician with a wide-ranging musical repertoire (classical, jazz, Romanian music…), composer and arranger,
Béatrice Mayo-Felip: a singer with many strings to her bow (vocal ones, that is!)
The vocal ensemble La Fugue et Cie: with a predominantly ‘baroque’ style but also open to innovation, conducted by Anne Marie Cretté.
Mix well with a dash of kindness, plenty of curiosity and a willingness to listen, blending written music, improvisations and the musicians’ original compositions…
Leave to simmer… and the power of music will do the rest!

Advance tickets available on Helloasso: €12 and €8; on the door: €15 and €10.
