Based on the autobiography of Viv Albertine, a British guitarist and author, a leading figure in the punk movement and a member of the band The Slits, *Vives* gives voice to a woman’s life, from childhood to old age, marked by struggles, resilience and hope. Five performers blend theatre, music and original songs to bring this free-spirited, raw and uncompromising writing to life. A production exploring women’s autonomy, freedom of expression and the healing power of art.
