The Société Hippique Urbaine de Caen (SHUC) is opening its doors to the public from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm for an afternoon dedicated to discovery and horse riding.
This event will be an opportunity to explore the riding centre, its facilities and activities, whether you’re a rider, a prospective member or simply curious to discover the world of horses.
On the programme: pony rides for first-timers, introductory courses, a tour of the equestrian centre and its facilities, as well as information and enrolment for the 2026–2027 season.
An equestrian flea market will also be held throughout the afternoon. The stalls will be run by SHUC members, who will be selling second-hand equestrian gear and equipment. The flea market is open to all visitors wishing to browse and find some bargains.
A friendly, family-oriented afternoon to discover the SHUC, meet the team, enjoy the activities and get ready for the new equestrian season!
