What is Scuik? It’s a musical show where everyone can take part! With a band of five extraordinary musicians and a slightly zany but always kind host, everyone can choose a song from a repertoire of 240 tracks and become the star, if only for a moment. You don’t need to be a pro – it’s all about having fun here, a far cry from competitions like ‘The Voice’. You can sing or simply cheer on those taking the plunge; the main thing is to have a good time together, whether on stage or in the audience!
How do you take part? Choose a song from a list of tracks that you can access on the spot via a QR code. Then, it’s over to you!
The band backs up the singer, even if they mess up, even if their take on the melody and rhythm is entirely their own. In any case, it’s always the singer who’s right!
Just a quick note: the lyrics are available on stage in a ring binder (all in a font big enough for even the most short-sighted among us!)
DJ BLUFF: To round off the evening on the dance floor, DJ Bluff takes control of the decks with a set that’s bound to be groovy!
