Vis-à-vis Festival

The Vis-à-vis festival is a unique event that showcases and presents to the general public creative projects led by artistic teams within prisons. The Comédie de Caen is hosting the first edition of Vis-à-vis Normandie, a highlight of artistic creation within prisons, in partnership with the Théâtre Paris-Villette. A meeting between the inside and the outside, synonymous with sharing, mutual observation and enrichment on both sides of the stage, resulting in a unique and essential programme.
Artistic creation within prisons, with the support of the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Culture, the Interregional Directorate of Prison Services for Western France, the Normandy Region and the Meyer Foundation.
