Exhibition “Water Gardens. Reflections of Normandy” exhibition

As part of the Rendez-vous aux jardins, discover the new exhibition at the Jardin des Plantes in partnership with the Institut Européen des Jardins et Paysages.

Take a journey through some of the region's most emblematic gardens, where water - in all its forms (pond, river, fountain, etc.) - becomes a structuring element of the landscape. Whether to irrigate, reflect, soothe or sublimate, water plays a role that is at once aesthetic, ecological and functional.
The exhibition also celebrates the skills of gardeners and landscape architects who integrate this vital element into the heart of the landscape.

It has been produced in partnership with the MRSH (Maison de la Recherche en Sciences Humaines) - Université de Caen-Normandie and the Jardin des Plantes de Caen, two major players in the research, preservation and promotion of Normandy's plant heritage.

The exhibition can be viewed in the Orangerie, with free access, during the Orangerie's opening hours.
