Saturdays in Rome: Immersive tour of the map of Rome

The Plan of Rome is an unusual and unique work of art. This large plaster model, measuring almost 70 m², represents ancient Rome at the time of Emperor Constantine (early 4th century). Listed as a historic monument, it is the work of Norman architect Paul Bigot. Built between 1904 and 1911, it underwent numerous modifications until the artist's death in 1942. As well as taking a stroll through ancient Rome, the guided tour will reveal some of the secrets behind the creation and history of this plan-relief.
An audiovisual show and a virtual model are available on reservation.
