Les 3 Planeurs restaurant-brasserie is located on the banks of the Caen Canal in Ouistreham, opposite the Pegasus Bridge and right next to the Pegasus Bridge Museum. Located on one of the major sites of the D-Day landings on 6 June 1944, the restaurant refers to the three British gliders that landed here during the operation led by Major John Howard's men. The restaurant maintains a memorial link with the history of the site and Major Howard's family, particularly during commemorations.
The brasserie offers traditional cuisine in a friendly, accessible setting, with a large canal-side terrace offering a direct view of the bridge, the museum and the river entertainment.
