It’s become something of a tradition… Every year, during the first weekend of the school holidays, the Shellfish and Seafood Festival returns to Ouistreham Riva-Bella for a weekend dedicated to fine food, conviviality and the flavours of the sea.
Join us on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October to enjoy this year’s festival with family or friends!
Throughout the weekend, you can stroll through the Fish Market and explore the stalls laden with seafood. The undisputed star of the festival, the scallop, will of course take centre stage. Fresh and delicious, it’s the perfect opportunity to stock up on local produce and extend the festival’s delights at home. You’ll also find a wide selection of fish, shellfish and other treasures from the sea.
But the Scallop Festival is also a festive and friendly occasion! To complement these culinary delights, the town has put together a programme of entertainment throughout the weekend: everything you need to make the most of the seaside atmosphere and share a pleasant time whilst enjoying the bounty of the sea.
Whether you’re a fan of scallops, a foodie or simply looking for a sociable day out during the holidays, this festival is the perfect opportunity to come and (re)discover the riches of the sea and the warm atmosphere of Ouistreham Riva-Bella.
