Cycle tour: ‘In the Footsteps of the French Kieffer Commando’

Are you passionate about the history of the D-Day landings? Caen la mer Tourist Office is offering you an original outdoor experience: a cycling lecture in the footsteps of the Franco-British commandos who landed on Sword Beach on 6 June 1944. Accompanied by historian Stéphane Simonnet, you'll cycle 18 kilometres between Ouistreham, Colleville-Montgomery, Saint-Aubin-d'Arquenay and Bénouville, to relive the key stages in this page of history.
The tour lasts around three hours.

You'll need to bring your own bike, a helmet and something to drink.
Bikes are not provided.
The event is available by reservation only, with a limit of 12 participants.
The excursion will be cancelled if fewer than five people register.

Event in partnership with Twisto.
