The "Petit Lourdes" in Hérouville-Saint-Clair is an exact 2/3 scale replica of the Sanctuary of Lourdes built between 1879 and 1885. Mr Jules Duboscq from Rouen came up with the project after his wife was miraculously healed in Lourdes. The site gives locals and visitors the chance to make a pilgrimage, especially those who can't go to the Pyrenees.
