The exhibition "Villes vivantes; Histoires de réconciliations entre ville et nature" invites visitors to stroll through nine cities from different continents. These cities? Lille, Toulouse, Turin, Shanghai, Groningen, Barcelona, Detroit, Bogotá and Marrakech? have all revolutionized the way they live with nature and their territory: reinventing a historic urban grid, anticipating risks, regenerating structuring natural spaces, transforming infrastructure?
These are just some of the stories of how the land, nature and living things are once again becoming essential urban components. And that it is more than necessary to transform cities in order to bring them back to life.
An exhibition by the Waao center d?architecture et d?urbanisme de Lille, designed by the TER agency. Presented at the Pavillon, from October 4, 2023 to January 28, 2024.
