Michel Bassompierre brings animal elegance to Caen and Ouistreham Riva-Bella. Considered one of the world?s greatest naturalist sculptors, the artist will be exhibiting on Park Avenue in New York at the same time. For the Millennium, 10 masterly sculptures of his gorillas, brown bears and polar bears are presented. Installed from May 28 to November 3 in front of the Abbaye aux Hommes in Caen and on the Ouistreham Riva-Bella seafront, his works are over 2 metres high, allowing us to feel the grandeur and vitality of the animal kingdom, while at the same time perceiving its fragility.
