Exposition de peintures, gravures et dessins “Il avait cru rêver, ce qui était vrai.”

Maxence Dury Gherrak, visual artist, is currently in residence at Labo des Arts.
He works in sculpture, painting, engraving and drawing.
His inspirations are the literature of the Beat Generation, ancient Chinese painting, as well as counter-culture movements, whether ancient or modern, such as the Ecole de Barbizon or the hippie movement of the 60s.
Her work focuses on natural and urban landscapes in relation to the ecological context of our era. The aim of his work is to recreate abstract landscapes. There is no longer any relationship between perspective, scale or color. The artist's aim is to detect all the rustles of the world, to reveal the infinite that vibrates before us, and to ask what lies beyond the horizon.
At the invitation of Collectif 73, Maxence Dury Gherrak will present a series of new paintings, engravings and drawings created between 2020 and 2024.
Open Thursdays from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Galerie du Collectif 73, 73 rue des boutiques, 14000 Caen.
