As part of the Château en chantier project, the City of Caen gave carte blanche to visual artist Axelle Rioult.
She immersed herself in the construction site from its start in early 2023 and the first transformations of the site. The artist shares her vision through a selection of large-format photographs, presented in the Salle de l?Echiquier at Caen Castle. 12 works to open the imagination, summon the senses and awaken powerful, unsuspected poetic landscapes.
